About the Job
Responsible for overseeing the Houston manufacturing sites quality management teams and processes. Lead the local quality assurance teams to maintain established quality management systems for all sites. Uses advance data analytics to measure performance and take actions for product and / or process improvement. Utilize technical / engineering skills to implement product and process improvements meeting the desired effectiveness standards. Works with the Bray International Quality team to ensure global best practices are in place locally and communicate any local best practices for use globally.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards
- Completes quality assurance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Develops a quality function team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, conducting performance management and training employees.
- Manages quality assurance staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
- Ensures quality by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Create reports to track progress.
- Formulate strategies to increase productivity.
- Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements.
- Collaborates with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
- Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians, and engineers.
- Collect and analyze performance data, set actions to make necessary continual improvement
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing committed objectives
- Utilize technical skills to implement product and process improvements meeting the desired effectiveness standards

Knowledge
- ISO9001:2015 & European Directive Quality management systems
- Managing quality assurance team members for growth and performance metrics
- Technically adept at dealing with complex problems in a timely
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Able to read and interpret standard English documentation such as work orders and work instructions, engineering drawings and dimensions, and measurement requirements.

Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering highly preferred
Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards
Working knowledge of quality system requirements
Quality management experience in manufacturing environment required
Lean Manufacturing implementation / execution preferred
Six Sigma methodologies execution highly preferred
Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software
