DESCRIPTION:
Come lead the quality function at 3 of our Wisconsin plants! You’ll have a team of 5 direct reports and 12 indirect reports. You will be responsible for assurance that all Cultures, Enzymes, mixes and Media final product shipments meet or exceed customer requirements. Come be part of our growth journey!

Your key responsibilities:
Manage the quality function for 3 plants that manufacture cultures, enzymes and flavors and assure that all customer specifications are met
Lead a team of 12 Quality professionals, encompassing both Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Ensure products and associated documentation are available to meet customer/country needs and assure that all relevant quality requirements from other regions are incorporated into products and processes
Establish a quality system at First Choice Ingredients (FCI) that integrates Client quality standards into the FCI operations
Risk assessment and management of the quality function

You bring
Minimum 8 years of experience in the quality function in a Life Science, Food, Pharmaceutical or similar business environment required; microbial fermentation experience is a plus
Team leadership and ability to drive results
Experience in building and improving Quality systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000); preference for Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals trained and knowledge of microbiology
Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and focus on continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and achieve results
Bachelor’s degree required
