Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our staff.
Position Overview:
Responsible for the inspection of materials and finished products received to the specification outlined on the order. Responsibilities include determining the proper sampling plans based on Material Classification Codes using Specifications, Inspection Plans, or Customer supplied requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs detail part inspections using:
Engineering drawings
Inspection plans
Customer requirements
Certifications
Calibrated equipment
Documents nonconforming parts issues within the quality system
Records inspection activities as directed
Interfaces with the enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool to move material
Non-Essential Job Functions:
Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required and have good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
Individual must be able to work well in teams with others from diverse organizational functions and backgrounds.
This position requires strong communication skills.
This individual regularly works with restricted information.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Shall be familiar with ISO-9001 or similar Quality System
Experience with engineering drawings
Ability to use calibrated equipment
Familiar with certification requirements
Candidate should possess basic mathematical skills, such as adding, subtracting, and rounding decimal numbers
Candidate should possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and be detail oriented
Must meet vision and color blindness standards, verified by medical documentation. New hires must pass an eye test before starting employment, and retesting occurs annually
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Skills/Abilities:
Ability to use shop match to calculate part measurements and work from drawings and catalogs.
Experience using various precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and thread gauges.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office solutions
Ability to lift 45 lbs.
