Job Description

Sociaxe is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support our growing PR team. You’ll play a key role in assisting with public relations initiatives, managing media relations, and ensuring our clients’ stories are told effectively. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and distributing press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and other media professionals.
• Track and report media coverage to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Research and compile information to support PR campaigns and pitches.
• Coordinate and support event planning, including press conferences and client meetings.
• Maintain and update press lists and databases.
• Monitor industry trends and provide insights for team strategy sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

• Preferred:

  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software.
  • Previous internship or experience in public relations, communications, or a related role.
