One of our clients is looking for an Psychotherapist.

Position Description:
• Exciting opportunity for a seasoned psychotherapist to join our Wellness team.
• Client is a Licensed State Operated Article 31 Mental Health Clinic Collocated in our Federally Qualified Health Center (F.Q.H.C.).
• Under the supervision of the Managing Clinical Director, the Psychotherapist will provide individual, group and family psychotherapy, supportive counseling, crisis intervention and care coordination for our Article 31 clinic
Essential Job Functions:
• Screen/assess clients for appropriateness for admission into the Article 31 Mental Health Clinic in collaboration with a psychiatrist/psychiatric nurse practitioner during initial visits
• Utilize evidence-based tools (PHQ-9, GAD- 7, AUDIT, DAST, etc) to help formulate an appropriate clinical diagnosis for assigned clients.
• Knowledge and past utilization of MI and CBT required; Understanding and previous implementation of other therapeutic interventions (psychodynamic, DBT, TF-CBT, and cognitive processing) preferred; Use of each intervention dependent on individual client.
• Provide group or family therapy dependent on experience and need.
• Establishing treatment goals and objectives for and with clients, as part of the interdisciplinary care planning process.
• Assume role of primary psychotherapist for assigned clients, which includes documenting all sessions as well as all communication with collaterals and shared providers.
• Actively participate and/or facilitate regular biweekly individual and group supervision and any other team meetings and trainings as assigned
• Attend regular supervision with Managing Clinical Director
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, treatment planning and service delivery to clients.
• Coordinate and facilitate case conferences for providers across agency serving same client, for high-risk cases and following incidents.
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all patient information in the EHR by not sharing personal username or password with other staff.
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all patient information in the EHR by exiting the application or locking the system when away from the computer.
Education, Certification and Qualifications:
• Masters in Social Work plus LMSW/LCSW with at least two years' experience providing psychotherapy and clinical supervision.
• Experience providing psychotherapy in an Article 31 or similar outpatient clinic required.
• Experience working with individuals with history of substance use, mental illness, chronic homelessness and/or HIV/AIDS and other chronic health conditions required.
• Experience working with adolescents, young adults and families desired.
• Experience facilitating therapy groups desired
• Prefer candidates already credentialed with insurance panels.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
