Psychological Services Specialist Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $48 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Psychological Services Specialist Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with the potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Psychological Services Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and mental health services to individuals.
• Evaluate and provide treatment or interventions for individuals based on their presenting needs.
• Conduct group and individual therapy sessions.
• Support the treatment team by reviewing care plans and collaborating to provide appropriate interventions for distressed individuals.
• Deliver crisis intervention as necessary.
• Offer in-service training to staff regarding psychological needs and crisis intervention.
• Attend treatment meetings as requested or needed.

Psychological Services Specialist Requirements:

• A minimum of a master’s degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least 5 years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals who are dually diagnosed with IDD/MH.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
