Psychiatric NP opening in New Hampshire Located in Peterborough, NH - just 72 miles from Boston, MA Description: The nurse practitioner provides behavioral health care services to patients in conjunction with the Medical Director and VP of Physician Services. The nurse practitioner is an independently licensed profession, functioning within the scope of his/her license, and in accordance with policies and procedures. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.You'll use a combination of therapy and medicine to treat patients, prescribing medication for mental illness and acting as a therapist to those who need counseling.
