As a Proposal Manager, you will:
- Lead the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling RFP, RFQ, RFI responses, presentations, and other written corporate collateral.
- Work collaboratively with multiple teams, including solutions architect team members, to craft solutions and strategies that align with client goals.
- Write and edit proposal sections, weaving together input from existing collateral, past performances, etc.
- Manage all aspects of the proposal lifecycle, from kick-off meetings and compliance checks to final production and delivery.
- Follow Shipley proposal management constructs.
- Develop winning themes and technical approaches that position TurningPoint as a leader in the industry.
- Maintain and organize proposal documentation to ensure consistency and accessibility.
- Support multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Uphold TurningPoint's branding, confidentiality standards, and a positive, collaborative work culture.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven success managing and writing federal government proposals, including those of moderate to high complexity.
- Ability to deliver written content that conveys complex technical solutions in an understandable way.
- A natural ability to translate IT concepts into clear, persuasive narratives (health IT knowledge is preferred).
- Proven knowledge and experience with Shipley proposal management constructs.
- Exceptional organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interviewing, and editing skills, with experience synthesizing input from various sources.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
