IMMEDIATE NEED!! CBIZ has been engaged by our well established Glen Oaks, NY based Real Estate client, to identify a Customer Service - Property Management Maintenance Services Supervisor. Property Management / Real Estate experience highly preferred. MUST have 2 years of Client Service experience with excellent follow-up and customer service skills. Will lead a small team of 3-4 Maintenance Services representatives who are responsibe for communicating with tenants, vendors, and internal staff to coordinate maintenance service requests. Property management experience a plus.

About the Role
Large, financially sound Residential Garden Apartment Co-op community. Approx. 20 employees in office. The Supervisor will oversee Advisors and contribute to handing a very large call volume and email correspondence towards the successful resolution of tenant maintenance service requests.
Responsibilities
- Lead, advise and coach a team of 3-4 Tenant Maintenance Service Advisors
- As volume dictates, will receive incoming calls from residents, shareholders, maintenance and vendors regarding work order requests
- Enter work order requests into database.
- Coordinate and follow-up with tenants, vendors and maintenance staff as to status of request.
- Generate, follow-up and finalize in-house service orders.
- Calmly handle large volume of emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Utilize radio equipment and GPS to maintain contact and efficiency with Field personnel.
- Identify building issues causing problems.
- Prepare correspondence.
Requirements
- Property management / real estate experience highly preferred
- Candidates should have 2+ years of supervisory experience, excellent client service skills, and be a bit "thick skinned". Tenants are calling with maintenance issues.
- Must be able oversee, coach and lead staff in difusing difficult situations and providing excellent service - build positive relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
