Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 per year

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of our accounts, and driving the financial success of our business. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including property accounting, CAM reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all entries.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.
- Perform and oversee CAM reconciliations and property accounting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying and explaining variances and trends.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Provide leadership and support to accounts payable and receivable departments.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
- Participate in special projects and implement financial systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on property accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and MRI software.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
- Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data in a clear manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- CPA certification is a plus.
