Description:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads and provides project management support for a variety of projects which may involve financial administration, compiling and reviewing metrics, the upgrade of software systems, etc.
- Develops and manages project time lines.
- Works closely with project team/departments to identify and resolve concerns.
- Assumes responsibility for timely delivery of project deliverables as scheduled.
- Develops and maintains databases and reports.
- Designs presentations in support of department's needs.
- Tracks departmental budgets and forecasts future budget needs.
- May plan and coordinates special events.
- May maintain and update the departmental website.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
- Maintain and update the departmental website and learning management system.
- Troubleshoot and support hardware and software problems that interfere with the creation and/or delivery of content.
- Create and maintain system for managing all programs accredited by the Emory CME and CDE offices.
- Create CME program evaluations and prepare evaluation summary reports upon request.
- Manage the CME learning management system (CME Tracker) and its integration with ACCME PARS and CME Passport.
- Collaborate with local IT support specialists and CME Tracker support specialists on upgrades to learning management system and integration with other IT systems.
- Maintain and update the departmental website.
- Develop project management plans and timelines for departmental projects as assigned.
- Assist staff in overseeing online program content to ensure compliance with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) guidelines for educational planning and documentation.
- Aid staff and help coordinate the development of promotional materials, including brochures, handouts, newsletters, listserv, web-based collateral, and other materials to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and ACCME accreditation guidelines.
- Create and help implement online tools that promote the department and boost client education and engagement (e.g., newsletters, surveys, listserv management, web content).
- Provide on-site management of conferences as needed. (Hybrid/Virtual activities).
- Schedules departmental equipment and software use, maintains a usage and problem log.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree and three years of project, financial and/or administrative management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proficiency with Excel and Access.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Publisher.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills. Attention to detail is essential.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and professions, including physicians, administrators, and other health care professionals.
- Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
- Self-motivated, strong sense of initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Zoom cloud meeting management and recording.
- Ability to learn and utilize proprietary learning management system (CMETracker) and other software used by CME department.
- Ability to learn and utilize Cascade web development.
- Exemplifies the highest level of professionalism and courtesy.
This position requires adaptability and flexibility to altering demands and work hours. This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on core departmental workdays (currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays), as well as additional days based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
