Project Scheduler
Onsite | Quincy, MA | 5 Days a Week
Summary
Our client is seeking a Project Scheduler to join their team! This role focuses on managing and coordinating schedules for construction projects, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with project goals. Working closely with project teams, trade partners, and consultants, the Project Scheduler will play a key role in maintaining accurate schedules and contributing to the success of large-scale projects. The position will occasionally require travel to project sites across the state.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of RFPs and proposal schedules for preconstruction and bid opportunities
- Develop and review pre-bid and post-award CPM schedules according to owner requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to create project narratives based on input from project managers, superintendents, and estimators
- Update project schedules in Microsoft Project with progress data on a monthly basis
- Coordinate with external scheduling consultants to meet deadlines and implement revisions
- Participate in scheduled review meetings, ensuring updates and discussions are documented
- Visit project sites to provide scheduling support to project teams
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques
- Experience in construction management, specifically with project scheduling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with construction plans and specifications
Education/Certification Requirements
- None
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Familiarity with Massachusetts-based construction regulations and practices
Compensation Notice
- This role offers an estimated annual base salary range of $80,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and qualifications.
