ITA is seeking an Office of Finance Portfolio Manager to join the team in Washington, DC.
Please note this position is contingent upon successful contract award, expected Summer 2024.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Portfolio Manager to oversee financial operations and manage portfolios within Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The Finance Portfolio Manager will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting to support CBP's mission and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of government financial management practices.
- Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for CBP programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders to align financial resources with organizational priorities and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of CBP programs and portfolios.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate financial status, trends, and projections.
- Estimate project costs, resource requirements, and funding needs based on project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling to support decision-making and resource allocation processes.
- Implement financial controls and internal audit processes to mitigate risks and safeguard financial assets.
