Title: Project Manager, Required TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (this is a must)
Classification: Manager/Exempt
Reports to: Director of Operations
Description:
Strategize, coordinate, inspect, supervise and evaluate all assigned personnel performing a variety of diversified custodial duties to ensure compliance with TWC cleaning and safety standards. Assure the proper care and cleaning of client facilities. Provides administrative and technical supervision to custodial staff. Essential duties:
Review and measure the quantity and quality of custodial work of assigned staff; conduct inspections.
Creates and implements cleaning standards and evaluates standards on an annual basis.
Ensure staff is in compliance with in-house training programs for custodial employees developed in coordination with the Training Director.
Ensure timely delivery of required equipment and materials to all facilities.
Seek and implement innovative solutions to challenges arising from fluctuating levels of funding and personnel staffing, emerging technologies, and changing customer requirements.
Identify potential problems or concerns and opportunities for service improvement to ensure excellence of custodial services.
Oversee the preparation of required reports and maintaining appropriate records
Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate the performance and duties of custodians and other assigned staff.
Develop recommendations for new and modified programs, policies, regulations and procedures for approval.
Confers with clients regarding custodial services.
Provides work direction to custodial staff, and other staff as assigned.
Evaluates employee performance and initiates corrective action if needed.
Works in collaboration with custodians and other staff to prepare rooms and meeting areas for special events requiring the moving and setting up of chairs, tables and related furniture, equipment, lighting and related items.
Participates in maintaining campus and building security, monitoring worksites and reporting potential security concerns.
Analyzes custodial needs and recommends priorities for the custodial program and participates in the ordering of supplies.
Trains and instructs assigned custodial personnel in cleaning methods, use of materials, light maintenance tasks and the safe operation of custodial equipment.
Supervises, monitors and participates in custodial work including cleaning rooms, toilets, halls, walks, stairways, shops, gymnasiums, libraries, walls, fixtures, and equipment, including sweeping, polishing, mopping, dusting, dressing floors, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
Operates yard sweepers, and vacuums, scrubbing machines, carpet shampooers, vacuum cleaners. and related grounds keeping tools and equipment
Attend and participate in required client and TWC meetings and trainings.
Other Function(s):
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Job Requirements: MUST HAVE A TS/SCI

Maintaining certification and following procedural guidelines for GS-42 certified.
Safe methods for using equipment and materials governing work scope.
Technical aspects of field of specialty.

Principles and practices of supervision and evaluation.
Computer software/hardware, and related technology.
Ability to:

Working Conditions Environment:
Indoor and outdoor environment; driving a vehicle to conduct work; fast-paced work; constant interruptions; noise from equipment operation; work around or with mechanical equipment; work with or exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals such as petroleum products, degreasers, and sprays.
Minimum Qualifications Training, Education and Experience:
Any combination of education, training, military and/or experience equivalent to: an associate of art’s degree and three years of increasingly responsible experience in custodial work including multi-level supervisory experience, and overseeing deferred maintenance projects
Licenses and Other Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
Consistent mental alertness; standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time; lift and carry light to moderate weight objects, occasionally more than 75 pounds; push/pull exerting force to approximately 30 pounds, occasionally 75+ pounds; climbing up and down ladders and stairs; bending and twisting at waist and neck; crouching and crawling; kneeling and bending at the waist, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally; dexterity of both arms and hands, and fingers while operating equipment and cleaning; seeing to read, write, and to perform duties; hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone.
