We are seeking a skilled project engineer with a background in designing and commissioning industrial automation control systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to the implementation of PLC applications, HMIs, drive systems, and information solutions for major manufacturing clients. We’re looking for a resourceful, innovative, and self-driven individual who is passionate about building a career in automation systems integration.
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications and interests:
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of experience in PLC system design, programming, and commissioning
Proficiency with PLC and HMI technologies, specifically with Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens equipment
Knowledge of VFDs and motion control systems
A desire to grow into a subject matter expert or take on team leadership responsibilities
Familiarity with manufacturing information systems such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Ignition, or similar platforms
Experience with Ethernet/IP and other industrial networking protocols
Exposure to machine vision systems and data collection technologies like barcodes and RFID
Additional experience in the following areas is advantageous:
Ethernet/IP and other industrial networking protocols
Machine vision systems and data collection technologies (barcode, RFID)
