We’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to coordinate projects across our product team and other high-priority initiatives with direct reporting to the CEO.
Position Overview
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of various projects that span multiple departments—most notably the product team—as well as strategic initiatives directly for the CEO. In this role, you will use your Asana expertise and 5+ years of project management experience to ensure timely and successful outcomes. You’ll work
closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners, providing oversight, clear communication, and effective coordination to drive HydroJug’s growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
? Collaborate with the CEO and department leads (particularly Product, Marketing, Operations) to define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
? Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, milestones, resource plans, and risk assessments.
Execution & Monitoring
? Oversee day-to-day progress of multiple projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within scope.
? Identify, track, and mitigate risks or roadblocks, proactively addressing issues before they impact project timelines.
Asana Management
? Use Asana as the primary project management tool, creating and optimizing boards, tasks, and workflows for clarity and efficiency.
? Train and mentor team members in Asana best practices, ensuring consistent usage and smooth collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
? Act as the central communication point, facilitating alignment between Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and external stakeholders (vendors, suppliers).
? Schedule and lead regular status meetings, providing up-to-date progress reports and actionable insights to the CEO and relevant teams.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
? Produce timely updates, executive summaries, and post-project analyses for the CEO and other key decision-makers.
? Communicate project objectives, timelines, and expectations clearly to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout each project’s lifecycle.
Strategic Project Support
? Partner with the CEO on high-level projects, including market expansion, new product initiatives, and organizational change.
? Provide recommendations and data-driven insights that support strategic
decision-making, resource allocation, and prioritization.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
? Evaluate and refine internal project management processes, championing best practices that enhance overall efficiency and quality.
? Research and implement project management methodologies, tools, and techniques relevant to HydroJug’s evolving needs.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
? 5+ years of hands-on project management experience, preferably within a consumer goods or product-focused environment.
Technical & Tool Expertise
? Proficient in Asana, with a proven track record of managing complex projects through the platform.
? Comfortable with productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace) and
cloud-based collaboration platforms (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
Project Management Knowledge
? Strong understanding of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) and the ability to tailor frameworks to project needs.
? Experience in risk management, resource planning, and budget tracking.
Leadership & Communication
? Exceptional communication skills for managing cross-departmental relationships and updating executive stakeholders.
? Proven ability to guide teams, foster collaboration, and maintain accountability under tight deadlines.
Organizational & Analytical Skills
? Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and project goals.
? Analytical mindset for synthesizing project data, evaluating performance metrics, and making informed decisions.
Adaptability & Problem-Solving
? Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
? Resourceful in identifying creative solutions to unexpected challenges, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented approach.
