Project Manager
Location: Las Vegas
Reports To: Sr. Director of Construction
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee the design and construction of projects. The ideal candidate must have experience in construction project management, and a proven track record of successfully managing FTTH infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to align project objectives and ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in the selection and management of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements, permits, and approvals.
- Develop and manage a document process library, project tracking tools, and project dashboards.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality assurance measures throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, with a focus on fiber optics network construction and deployment.
- Strong project management skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of best practices in civil engineering, construction management, and technology.
- Experience and knowledge of data management and dashboard tools including PowerBI.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Proficient in project management tools, software, and systems for tracking project progress and performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
