About the Job
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager II to join our team onsite in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams
+ Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming
+ Coordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers
+ Direct and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables
+ Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project
+ Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience
+ Experience with planning and developing project schedule
+ Experience with resource management
+ Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance
+ Up to 25% travel required or as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ PMP Certification
+ Prior experience with Navy
+ Prior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have an active Secret Security clearance
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
