Job Description:
At Southern ISC, we take pride in continuous evolution. The driving force behind our business growth is a skilled and dedicated project management team. We’re searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through construction, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Lead the planning, execution, delivery, and closing out of projects.
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources.
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
- Report/present project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative project environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project effectiveness and efficiency.
- Perform critical path analysis to identify key project milestones and dependencies.
- Perform project closure which includes:
- Conduct project reviews and lessons learned analysis.
- Prepare project documentation and final reports.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed and accepted.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- 5 years of project management experience in industrial electrical, automation, or construction projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation processes.
- Experience in risk assessment, change management, and contract administration.
- Ability to analyze technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
