Full Job Description
Ameri Pro Restoration is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator with expertise in Xactimate software and fire and water damage restoration. This dual-role position is critical to the successful planning, estimation, and execution of residential and commercial restoration projects. - As a Project Manager:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Oversee daily operations on-site to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead construction crews and subcontractors, providing clear direction and guidance.
- Conduct daily meetings with team members to address progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations on all projects.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams, to align expectations and resolve issues.
- Manage material purchasing and coordinate deliveries to align with project timelines.
- As an Estimator:
- Utilize Xactimate software to prepare detailed and accurate project estimates.
- Conduct on-site assessments of damaged properties to document losses and determine repair needs.
- Analyze project scope to calculate costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters to ensure agreement on project scope and pricing.
- Review and revise estimates as necessary to reflect project changes or additional work orders.
- Maintain meticulous records of estimates, project changes, and communications.
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in the fire and water damage restoration industry.
- Proficiency in Xactimate software is required.
- IICRC certifications in Water and Fire Mitigation are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with both residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of restoration processes, industry standards, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and project teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail for accurate estimates and efficient project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
- Ability to work in challenging environments, including damaged properties and construction sites.
