We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Project Manager specializing in Dry Utilities for our dynamic Construction team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing dry utility projects, including gas installation, street light, and traffic signal systems. This role will involve working closely with a team of skilled professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. If you have a passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a talent for leading teams, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager for Dry Utilities, your primary responsibilities will be:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of dry utility construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Developing and managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
3. Coordinating and supervising the installation of gas, street light, and traffic signal systems.
4. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met and any issues are promptly resolved.
5. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
6. Regularly reviewing and updating project plans and schedules, making adjustments as necessary to deal with delays or other issues.
7. Preparing and presenting regular project reports for senior management and clients.
8. Leading and motivating a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Project Manager for Dry Utilities, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a specific focus on dry utilities.
2. Proven experience in managing the installation of gas, street light, and traffic signal systems.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and direct a team.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to think strategically and tactically.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with a proven ability to manage project budgets effectively.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is desirable.
