Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects within the correctional/detention market. This includes ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with GSFIC, construction, and project management, as well as strong skills in project scheduling, budget management, team management, mentoring, renovation, and working with structural steel, wood framing, and cast in-place concrete.

Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects within the correctional/detention market. This includes ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with GSFIC, construction, and project management, as well as strong skills in project scheduling, budget management, team management, mentoring, renovation, and working with structural steel, wood framing, and cast in-place concrete.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects within the correctional/detention market
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks and milestones
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as needed to stay within budget
- Manage project teams and ensure all team members are working efficiently and effectively
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Oversee and manage the use of structural steel, wood framing, and cast in-place concrete in construction projects
- Ensure projects are meeting all necessary safety and quality standards
- Communicate project updates and progress to all stakeholders on a regular basis
- Identify and address any project risks or issues in a timely manner
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the correctional/detention market
- Experience working with GSFIC and understanding of its processes and procedures
- Strong project scheduling and budget management skills
- Experience managing and mentoring a team
- Knowledge of renovation and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
