Responsibilities
- Support TEGG Service Managers with project management processes to successfully complete TEGG service projects.
- Support TEGG Service Managers and Electricians through project set up, project progress, and close-out.
- Manage digital and physical project files and manage project data in accounting software.
- Prepare TEGG reports using data collected by TEGG technicians.
- Manage bid invitations and assist managers in gathering information for estimate.
- Work with managers to manage project estimates files and documents, including set up of digital estimate files and acquisition of all project plans and specifications.
- Assist in the acquisition and management of all vendor quotes during estimate process.
- Assist in estimate finalization and prepare bid documents as required by bid request.
- Manage submittals, purchase orders and subcontracts with vendors.
- Prepare documentation as required by owner/general contractor and project management.
- Manage change order processes, including preparation of change order and extra work requests. Maintain change order files and cost data within Spectrum.
- Work with TEGG Service Managers to prepare schedules of values, monthly billings, and time and material billings.
- Prepare TEGG reports for customers reporting results of energized and de-energized testing with data gathered by TEGG technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of billing experience, ideally in the AEC industry or similar invoicing/accounting experience
- Preferred experience and proficiency in Viewpoint construction accounting software
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Solid understanding of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to a variety of accounting audits, transactions, and problems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Word applications
- Strong organizational skills including time management, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in analyzing data
