Description
As a Project Coordinator, you will work exclusively to provide ongoing support for a large cross-functional marketing team as they deliver multichannel national campaigns for Home Entertainment Division.
Your primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and oversee operations on projects within the integrated marketing organization.
Your duties are to assist the Director of Strategy, Operations & Analytics for Integrated Marketing in managing and coordinating all upcoming initiatives, deadlines, priority projects, and escalation issues. You will also prepare reports, proposals, trackers, budgets, and presentations and manage large-scale meetings and resulting actions on behalf of IM Leadership.
While this position will sit in the Integrated Marketing organization, the Project Coordinator will need to operate cross-functionally to ensure all the components of the plan come together, and people are held responsible for their deliverables.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development and management of marketing initiatives and leading coordination between the respective IM marketing leads to bring them to completion.
You should be a proactive, positive and collaborative communicator, capable of developing strong interpersonal relationships.
This position will ensure that marketing initiatives are accurately planned, tracked, executed, and recapped at the highest level of detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting and coordinating all aspects of the integrated marketing team process, from planning to budgeting, including coordinating across teams/departments to make sure projects meet their intended goals and deadlines.
• Support coordination of the Internal Marketing team and connect with the integrated agency teams for projects and work stream execution.
• Partner with the Director of Strategy, Operations & Analytics for Integrated Marketing to align marketing calendars and projects.
• Drive implementation of cross-departmental marketing and communications initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Assist other team members with interpreting and executing IM Leadership’s vision and intent regarding upcoming and ongoing marketing initiatives.
• Ensure the timely completion of project commitments.
• Document, track, and report on daily action plans.
• Orchestrate and accurately capture large-scale meetings, assigning and following up on actions.
• Schedule check-ins and stakeholder meetings.
• Create weekly digests of progress against plans.
• Understand project scopes, budgets (if applicable), and duration.
• Monitor projects to evaluate progress, quality, and any events or conflicts that might cause a delay in project completion.
• Organize, maintain, and archive project documentation for future reference.
• Develop project plans and enhance adherence to the project plans to ensure project quality is maintained.
• Identify project risks and conflicts.
Requirements and Skills
• 3+ years’ experience in project management and/or administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with an aptitude in fostering long-term relationships in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant business software.
• Prior experience in the CE industry a plus.
• Proven ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and to work with a flexible schedule.
• A clear understanding of management, business, and finance processes.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
