Maximus a global leader in providing innovative government services, is currently seeking a highly qualified (Temporary) Project Management Operations to join the Health Texas Eligibility Support project.
This role will be responsible collaborating with team members, executive leaders, clients, vendors, and other key stakeholders for efficient and successful project execution supporting the Texas Health Services project.
This is a limited-service position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Director with the day-to-day running of the core functional areas to ensure compliance with the prime contract, all subsequent amendments, program business rules, as well as, state and federal regulations.
- Assist the Project Director in his/her efforts to facilitate a functional, motivated, and cohesive project team.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with the client and other key stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and resolution on all pertinent contract matters, operational changes, and applicable corrective and preventive actions.
- Work with the Project Director to develop performance goals and objectives for the project and staff, and monitor the achievement of those goals.
- Assist in creation and implementation of innovative methodologies to continually streamline and improve project operations and outcomes.
- Ensure project stays within budget, meets its financial performance goals, and meets all agreed upon timelines and work plans.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program Specific Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience required.
-At least one year of Project Management experience (PMO)
-PMP certification preferred.
-Must be able to work full-time Monday - Friday
-Proficiency in Excel required
-Required to work in a fast-paced environment
Home Office Requirements:
- Reliable, high-speed internet service
- Minimum 20 Mbps download speeds
- Must be a traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber
- Services that connect via a cellular network (mobile hotspot, fixed wireless, etc.) or satellite are incompatible
- Must be able to connect your computer directly to your modem or router via ethernet cable, Wi-Fi connections are not allowed
- Quiet and distraction-free workspace
- Maximus will supply your computer equipment

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
