Key Responsibilities
As a Fabrication Oversight Personnel, you will:
- Serve as the key observer and reporter for supplier performance, ensuring adherence to schedules and technical requirements.
- Apply your expertise in fabrication processes to oversee activities including submittals, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to maintain alignment with contracts and technical directives.
- Monitor in-process fabrication documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support quality assurance (QA) activities, including hold/witness points and surveillances.
- Review discrepancies, provide technical oversight, and facilitate engineering solutions.
- Coordinate technical reviews of supplier deliverables and manage seamless communication between suppliers and the Natrium team.
- Verify packaging, labeling, and monitor shipment preparation to ensure standards are met.
- Issue weekly reports to provide transparent and actionable updates.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with:
- A technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering—or equivalent experience.
- 10-20 years’ experience in supplier oversight with a solid understanding of fabrication processes, including welding and ASME/AWS codes.
- Knowledge of UL 508A standards (preferred) and supplier project management expertise.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, communicate effectively, and foster teamwork.
- The ability to support contractual and technical requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Physical & Work Conditions
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform fine motor tasks.
- Comfortable working in both remote office settings and occasional manufacturing environments.
- Travel up to 75% is required for supplier oversight.
