Position Overview:

Switch Electric is currently looking for a Project Engineer to join the team. You will be a key member of our project management team, responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of mission-critical and data center projects. Your expertise in electrical engineering and project management will contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the workflow of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Submittals.
• Establish and manage tracking logs.
• Perform material and equipment inspections to ensure quality installations.
• Establish and manage logs to track rental equipment and material.
• Perform quantity takeoffs to assist in estimating new projects.
• Assist in quality control and commissioning documentation.
• Assist in closeout activities, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted to the owner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ year of experience as a project engineer, preferably working with electrical projects or other related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
