As a Construction Project Engineer at Condon-Johnson & Associates, Inc., you will learn the fundamentals of construction project management and the technical details of ground improvement, shoring, and foundation drilling while assisting with job site management. You will gain practical, hands-on experience in the field for 3 to 5 years, progressively taking on more project management responsibilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on geotechnical construction projects and grow toward becoming a Project Manager.

- Assist with the preliminary design, estimating, layout, and scheduling for ground improvement, shoring, and foundation drilling projects.
- Help manage job site operations, ensuring quality control and compliance with project requirements.
- Acquire and analyze data to aid in decision-making for project management.
- Collaborate with field personnel and senior management to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
- Problem-solving in real-time, adapting to challenges and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Interact and communicate effectively with field personnel, clients, and management.
- Take on progressively more responsibility in project management as your experience grows.
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is highly preferred.
- Some experience in the construction industry; geotechnical or drilling experience is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems and adapt to changing environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse teams.
- Goal-oriented and driven by deadlines, with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
- Open to travel and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Desire to gain hands-on field experience in the geotechnical construction industry, with a clear career path toward Project Management and obtaining a PE License.
