We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our Commercial Healthcare Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to work on ground-breaking projects in the construction industry. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in ground-up construction, tenant improvement (TI), and renovations, specifically within the Commercial/healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of key roles in our project execution. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting in the planning, management, and execution of commercial healthcare construction projects.
2. Coordinating with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Reviewing and interpreting architectural plans and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
4. Managing and tracking project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor.
5. Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
6. Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
7. Preparing and presenting project progress reports to stakeholders.
8. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
9. Coordinating tenant improvements and renovations as required.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial and/or healthcare construction, specifically with ground-up construction, tenant improvements (TI), and renovations.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
7. Proficiency in construction software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project.
8. A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
9. Ability to travel to construction sites as needed.
