About this position:
The project coordinator will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues and risks of the project. It's their job to make sure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly. This can include communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Salary Range: 75k - 95k Compensation is determined by the candidate's expertise, experience and location.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Monitor project progress and create project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Assist with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
- Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
- Execute a variety of project management administrative tasks such as project budgeting activities.
- Author and Tech edit project artifacts/deliverables.
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
Required Education/Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: MUST be fully adjudicated & maintain a Secret clearance.
- Education: Associate (or) Bachelors degree in business administration, management or a related field
- Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP) or 5+ years of project experience
- Working knowledge of project management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge using SharePoint and Excel
- Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
