Overview
Joule has a client that is looking to hire a Project Coordinator directly to assist with all projects, tasks, assignments, and communications related to Grants and Contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Federal Grants Administration, Clinical Trials Funding, and Conflict of Interest Reporting.
Responsibilities Working with the Senior Director and other administrative staff, assist with preparation of new grant submissions, recompeting submissions, and progress reports.
Assist with tracking and completion of all grant submission requirements, including narrative sections, budgets, and related administrative materials.
Review new protocol submissions to prepare funding sheet drafts detailing available per case reimbursements for each trial.
Review Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) disclosure forms returned to the Membership Department to determine which need to be reviewed by the Executive Officer and/or the FCOI Committee.
Assist with drafting, issuing and negotiating subaward agreements and amendments.
Requirements A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or relevant professional experience
A minimum of three (3) years of experience with federal grants administration
Understanding and/or exposure to submission, tracking and reporting processes for federal grants or other clinical research funding mechanisms
Experience with medical billing or coverage analysis is a plus.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and other related systems applications
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and understanding of ICH/FDA guidance for Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is helpful
