Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Coordinator/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination. They will be responsible for the smooth execution of various construction projects from the beginning to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Coordinator, you will:
1. Coordinate and manage all project activities from initiation to closure, ensuring that all project objectives are met within the agreed time frame and budget.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure all milestones and objectives are being met.
3. Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient project execution.
4. Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
5. Identify potential project risks and issues, and develop and implement effective risk management strategies and solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among project team members.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
2. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
