Project Coordinator (AdminAssistant)
- Pay: $20/hour (firm)
- Hours: Mon Fri, 9am 5pm (with a 1-hour lunch from 12pm 1pm)
- Will consider part time hours as well
- Temp: 1 2+ months
- Parking: Not covered the cheapest lot is $3 per day.
- There is a shuttle available from the parking lot to their building
- Fully in the office only
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator/Admin provides administrative support to a Professor by coordinating and managing the day-to-dayoperations of his research group, including calendar management, websiteupdates, travel arrangements, scheduling and set up of regular and ad hocmeetings.
Essential Functions
- Administers the daily operations of the Professor's research group and provides support to the team members.
- Make travel arrangement
- Organizes seminars and events for the research group
- Creates reports and spreadsheets
- Processes a variety of financial transactions such as processing invoices, preparing expense reports and reimbursements for the research team members and visitors
- Submits purchase orders and requisitions and reconciles purchasing card (corporate credit card) statements
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Three years of related experience in program and/or administrative experience
Skills Required
- Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with MS-Office software and email applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Education - College Degree
- Experience - Five years of experience in a corporate or higher education environment
