Practice Area:
Urban Living: You are passionate about improving the built environment in communities, and have experience in executing, collaborating, and designing complex multifamily mid-rise and high-rise projects.
Resort + Hospitality: You are a collaborative designer focused on developing excellent technical details tailored to the specific needs of hospitality buildings. You are experienced in balancing design work and coordination between internal and external teams.
Senior Living: You are a creative story-teller that pushes the boundaries beyond a more traditional aging adult design approach. You are experienced in developing site test fits, space and program explorations, and façade design. Revit knowledge required.
Workplace: You are an architect who enjoys the Construction Administration phase and have the experience and insight necessary in workplace-related projects to brings our extraordinary design outcomes to the finish line.
The Project Architect plans, coordinates, and engages in design development, production drawing, specifications, and construction detailing in a collaborative team environment alongside the Senior Project Manager and Principal. The PA role requires creative thinking towards project needs, technical detailing, code compliant designs, and overall problem-solving. They are key to coordinating the projects with technical consultants, create and update project schedules, assist in setting up workplans, and will have opportunities to begin minor financial duties related to project profitability and revenue/staff planning. To those ends the candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. Along with the Senior PM, the PA will direct activities of multiple assigned projects and will supervise junior-level team members to achieve project deliverables within prescribed timelines and financial parameters including agency reviews, permitting/bidding coordination, and construction administration with support from various project administration staff. This leader will also be required to mentor junior staff and be involved in various leadership groups of their choosing within the firm. Additionally, the firm sees this position as key in client/project success and firm leadership and subsequently will provide excellent strategic mentorship and professional development for this position.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or related degree from an accredited program
8+ years of experience in architectural design and documentation
Experience supervising junior-level staff and leading project teams
Proficiency with Revit and other design technology programs
Registered Architect or ARE exams completed preferred
Proficiency in Office Suite, Bluebeam. Experience with Procore, PlanGrid is a plus
Enthusiasm and determination to contribute to our development, teamwork, and culture
Experience in various project types a plus; including hospitality, senior living, mixed-use, or multi-family
Ability to travel to job sites, client and/or agency meetings, and other project related locations
