JOB SUMMARY:
At the highest level, must “Show Up” enthusiastic, entrepreneurial “Figure it Out”, and committed to “Getting it Done” to performing their job in an ethical and proper manner while the team “Wins Together”. This role will be responsible for managing all the financial information related to a project/projects at their company. They keep track of each project’s expenses and provides regular reports on whether the project is over or under budget. Individuals in this position may also be responsible for drawing up proposals for possible projects and informing managers how much a project could potentially cost and/or earn.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Managing the financial data and budget for multiple projects concurrently.
- Working with project team to gather data, provide reports, draw up proposals for possible projects and provide data on profitability on project or potential projects.
- Obtain all costs estimates for supplies, labor, and other items necessary for project completion.
- Continuously monitor budget to ensure projects meets target deliverables.
- Work closely with project team and corporate accounting.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Associates, Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Project based accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite which includes Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.
- The ability to make decisions.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to deal with high pressure
- Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends
