We are looking for an Engineering Recruiter for our growing team. No engineering background is required though it is nice to have. If you are a self motivated, naturally curious, and eager to grow your career, our position is right for you. Please note that this 100% in office role.
Responsibilities:
- Learn design, prototype, testing, quoting and transportation processes.
- Follow up with parts coming from tool maker.
- Being in plant to organize shipping. Checking inventory.
- Constant communication with suppliers.
- Acquire packaging specification approvals form plant level department managers with the guidance of the Program Logistic Engineers
- Logistic Cost Estimation file creation and updating throughout program launch.
- Update Packaging Tracker, obsolete returnable packaging inventory and External MIFDs
- Physical distribution of packaging assets at the plant level could be required in some cases.
- Identify build shortages.
- Check customer system for order updates.
- Update/send pick scheduling template for build/ship/quality and management team per standard process.
- Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction.
- Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
- Inventory management
- Create work orders for logistic/program activity.
- Communicate component order needs to avoid customer shortages.
- Create pick list for inventory pull using BOM template.
- Submit inventory pick list based on availability.
- Submit month-end build summary to Controller.
