We are seeking a Program Director to join our Riverview Recovery Wellness Program in Philadelphia, Pa.
This posting is Full-time, First Shift, Monday - Friday.

Position Details
The Program Director will manage the daily operations of our community-based recovery homes and/or transitional housing programs. This individual's responsibilities will also include:
* Provide monthly supervision to program and case managers, document monthly supervision, and complete probationary and annual performance reviews for all direct reports.
* Ensure that the programs under their management achieve budgeted occupancy rates and referrals to Parkside Recovery programs where applicable. Report negative occupancy trends and variances to the executive director.
* Implement policy and procedures as directed by the executive director or Merakey corporate office and ensure compliance.
* Ensure that case management processes are effective, and provide case consultations when requested by program managers, case managers, or supportive service coordinators
* Follow Merakey Policy and Wellness Village Procedures for incident reporting and participation in the incident review process.
* Represent Wellness Village at various meetings, conferences, and events with the community.
* Ensure that program managers or contracted meal service providers provide nutritious meals to our residents.
* Ensure that all program managers or other appointed staff purchase program supplies in a timely manner and within the operating budget following Merakey policy for purchasing.
* Assist program managers and supportive service coordinators in developing social activities for residents.
* Develop billing support spreadsheets and monthly invoices if applicable.
* Communicate with Merakey fiscal and forward all final monthly documents to the Fresh Start office manager.
* Communicate local policies and procedures to staff and ensure that staff provides services within the framework of local operating procedures.
* Participate in the Wellness Village product team and management meetings.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work, or related field with a specialty or concentration in counseling
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in human services, behavioral health, and/or recovery services with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
* Robust computer skills (able to access Microsoft Outlook Email, the EHR, and employee portal, Microsoft Suite, Teams, Zoom)
* Able to make decisions under pressure and manage stress appropriately
* Manager anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately
* Able to multitask and work in areas that are confined and/ or crowded
* Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work, or related field with a specialty or concentration in counseling is preferred
* An active and valid Driver's License is preferred
* Experience of management in a residential setting is strongly preferred
