Grantmakers In Health (GIH) is looking for motivated team player who enjoys supporting a range of projects designed to increase the effectiveness of foundations and corporate giving programs in advancing their missions and improving health outcomes for all.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communications.
- Experience in issue-focused research; survey creation and management; and preparation, production, and distribution of written and electronic documents and presentations.
- Database management skills and the ability to generate distribution lists and update records to ensure accurate and complete information is available.
- A bachelor's or associate degree with at least five years of administrative or program support experience.
- An interest in health, equity, or philanthropy is a plus.

GIH is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to helping foundations and corporate giving programs improve the health of all people. Our mission is to foster communication and collaboration among grantmakers and others, and to help strengthen the grantmaking community's knowledge, skills, and effectiveness.
The Program Assistant will:
- Provide administrative support to a team of Program Directors who are responsible for specific aspects of GIH's health programming.
- Collaborate with other GIH staff on the program, communications, and development teams.
- Support GIH programming for staff and trustees of foundations and corporate giving programs, including webinars, in-person meetings, learning communities, and sessions at GIH's standing meetings.
- Research a range of health and philanthropic issues.
- Partner with Program Directors to create and deploy surveys and help analyze results.
- Provide event management support for virtual and in-person events.
What we offer:
- A competitive salary of $50,000 to $60,000 based on experience.
