Program Administrative Operations Assistant Position Summary
The Program Admin Ops Assistant is responsible for ensuring preauthorization and ongoing authorization from third party payers for all referrals to the outpatient services which include: Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, PAD Rehabilitation, and diagnostic tests. Knowledge of proper diagnoses, coding and documentation is required. In addition to the insurance verification, the position is responsible for account receivables, billing, and attendance for the Adult Fitness Programs and in cooperation with the Director, completes departmental statistics and quality matrixes requires by accreditations and compliance audits. Finally, the position will require a working knowledge of the central office to cover Administrative Assistant duties, when necessary, i.e., EPIC registration, EPIC check-in, scheduling appointments, etc.
Program Administrative Operations Assistant Position Requirements
- Associates degree in business administration or in an allied health field.
- Appropriate practical experience in office operations, business or healthcare will be considered in place of an academic degree.
- Three (3) years administrative/business experience is required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.
- Computer and associated application knowledge to include Windows, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and the use of an electronic medical record system.
- EPIC EMR experience is preferred
Program Administrative Operations Assistant Schedule
- Monday through Friday, dayshift. Schedule may expand to cover evenings or weekends depending on department demand.
Program Administrative Operations Assistant Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
