Our client, a prestigious law firm in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Professional Support Attorney to join their complex commercial litigation team. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to high-stakes litigation matters while supporting a dynamic team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex commercial litigation within a large law firm environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal support and guidance to attorneys working on complex commercial litigation cases.
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies, including research and drafting of motions, briefs, and other key litigation documents.
• Manage and oversee case files, ensuring that all documentation is organized, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of complex commercial litigation matters, staying current with applicable laws, regulations, and precedents.
• Collaborate closely with partners and associates to streamline the preparation and execution of litigation-related tasks.
• Assist with trial preparation, including document management, discovery, deposition summaries, and witness preparation.
• Contribute to the development of practice group knowledge, creating and maintaining templates, standard forms, and internal resources.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff on case management and litigation strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and other external parties as needed to gather information and support case objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation at a large law firm.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
• Strong knowledge and experience in complex commercial litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
