Professional Land Surveyor - Impact Recruitment

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor in Puyallup, WA.

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in surveying, data analysis, and design support for a wide range of public and private projects. We are looking for a self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively with our engineering and project management teams.
 
Responsibilities:

• 
  AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for surveying and design tasks.
  
• 
  Land Surveying Fundamentals: Demonstrate a basic understanding of land surveying procedures and fundamentals.
  
• 
  Survey Operations: Conduct surveys daily, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  
• 
  Data Compilation: Compile and analyze survey data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  
• 
  Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and team members to coordinate project requirements.
  
• 
  Design Assistance: Assist with the design process, working alongside engineers and project managers.
  
• 
  Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.
  
• 
  Timely Task Completion: Complete all tasks in a timely manner, meeting project deadlines.
  
• 
  Department Support: Provide support to the surveying department as required, contributing to team success.
  
• 
  Adaptability: Be willing to assist with other projects and tasks as needed to support company goals. 
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  Surveying Knowledge: Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and methods, including surveyors and graders.
  
• 
  Mapping Skills: Ability to read and interpret maps, plans, and surveys accurately.
  
• 
  Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word), GIS software (ArcGIS), and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  
• 
  Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  
• 
  Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  
• 
  Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
