What You Will Achieve
Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help Pfizer with the operations required for the oversight or operational activities involved in the aseptic cleaning and/or other chemical cleaning involved in manufacturing plant.
Operates automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures. Equipment includes mixers, filter presses, filtering equipment, pumps, and filling machines. Performs quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identifies variations. Assists Team Lead and/or other technicians in meeting production, delivery, quality, and safety goals. Coordinates with and checks the work of other operators.
As part of technical operations, you will be a team member who is relied to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. You will contribute to the team’s success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge.

How You Will Achieve It
Manage time, professional development, be accountable for operational results and begin to prioritize workflow.
Operates equipment and processes per SOPs and master batch records.
Maintains records and logbooks.
Notifies Team Lead, manager or appropriate individuals of equipment malfunctions and process deviations, including problems with systems or materials.
Assists team lead and other technicians in maintaining and monitoring physical inventories to make sure supplies are available when needed.
Work to resolve equipment and process problems and performs Operator care as required.
Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and in accordance with established safety policies and regulations.
Perform all necessary documentation, including required labels, cleaning forms, room logs, work orders, etc.
Communicates with other technicians to ensure necessary information is relayed and understood between the work teams.
Trains new technicians in standards of expected performance and behavior.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Set-up and operate industrial cleaning equipment to clean and sanitize equipment used in the weighing, blending and packaging of products.
Notify Team Lead, Manager or appropriate individuals of equipment malfunctions and process deviations, including problems with systems or materials.
Qualifications
Must-Have
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of work experience with some level of proficiency in all phases of manufacturing operations
Experience in operations and technician's work
Ability to learn to use industry standard software
Attention to detail, a sense of urgency and the ability to work unsupervised
Must have good interpersonal skills in order to maintain good employee relations and train others
Good English reading, writing and speaking skills
Nice-to-Have
Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience

The salary for this position ranges from $20.33 to $33.89 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
