As a Production Technician you will:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions, specifications, and test instructions
- Must have inspection experience (Handheld measuring devices - micrometer, gauges and calipers)
- Perform all manufacturing processes required to build subassemblies, including welding, fastener installation, electrical assembly, plumbing, and general mechanical assembly
- Ensure parts meet all quality requirements
- Keep stations and work environment clean, completing 5S tasks at end of shift
- Provide documented build feedback to leadership and engineering for process improvements
- Identify build blockers and effectively communicate them to leadership
- Maintain production tooling
- Navigate ERP system to find proper work orders and submit requests
- Operate equipment in a manner consistent with safety expectations
- Must be open to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours minimum
- Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
Pay range $18-$20 per hour
The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet aggressive production milestones and deadlines
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, including navigating an ERP system for work orders.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted, stand for extended periods, and maneuver comfortably in tight spaces.
- Strong mathematical, basic computer, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
