About the Job

Our Client, a leading contract manufacture of superior medical devices is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Production Supervisor for their facility located in St. Charles, IL

This is a Direct Hire position responsible for providing overall supervision to the hourly workforce and will work in collaboration with a variety of other departments including quality, supply chain, other production departments, production leadership and human resources.

Essential Functions:

Plan and organize resources to ensure organizational and customer goals are met.
Scheduling jobs/work orders to meet customer demands while also maximizing departmental efficiency.
Provide direction and supervision to the hourly workforce to ensure goals are met with regard to safety, quality, and production; including but not limited to coaching and feedback, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as appropriate.
Complete a variety of reports and other reports with regard to safety, production, ISO, employee performance, and etc.
Maintain appropriate communication and documentation of changes and updates to production process and document SOPs, in collaboration with the Quality Department.
Conduct timely communication meetings, safety training, and other meetings as required to ensure high levels of communication are maintained.

Compensation Range: $60,000 to $75,000/yr. (Depending On Experience)

Shift hours: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm with rotating Saturdays required.

Bilingual Spanish/English
Minimum 5 years operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize workload.
Ability to take initiative, with a demonstrated passion and commitment for getting the job done right the first time.
Computer skills are required, Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of ERP systems.
Effective problem solving skills with an eye towards proactive solutions.
