We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Production Planner to join our dynamic team in the scientific industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of products and services. This role is crucial to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction and plays a key role in our company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage production plans and schedules to meet customer requirements and optimize capacity utilization and inventory levels.
- Utilize SAP to maintain and update the Bill Of Materials (BOM), manage inventory, and monitor production progress.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to production schedules.
- Apply Kaizen and 6S methodologies to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives in the production process.
- Handle raw materials, ensuring their proper storage and usage in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the shipping and warehouse management teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues before they occur.
- Analyze and report on key production metrics, including cost, productivity, and efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning in the scientific or related industry.
- Proficiency in using SAP or equivalent ERP system.
- Strong knowledge of Kaizen, 6S, and other lean manufacturing techniques.
- Proven experience in cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Bill Of Materials (BOM), inventory management, and warehouse management.
- Experience in handling raw materials and managing safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams across the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- APICS certification is a plus.
