What You Can Expect:As a production manager you will coordinate and manage all labor, materials, and installation schedules with customers. This role entails managing the entire employee life-cycle to hire and maintain staffing needed to meet builder schedules. In order to create an excellent customer experience, you'll also need to foster and coach the workforce with feedback and ongoing technical training to increase performance. Your day-to-day will never look exactly the same, but you'll be consistently expected to:
- Supervise, schedule, manage and interact with installation crews
- Ensure compliance of OSHA, DOT and company safety policies and procedures
- Foster great communication and teamwork by visiting jobs sites and working with crews to troubleshoot any problems
- Upkeep maintenance on equipment and company vehicles
- Quality control
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, disciplining, and firing installers
- Warehouse management (ensure duties are completed daily)
- Inventory control
- Ensure all installers complete daily paperwork
- Build relationships with builders and meet with them on a quarterly basis
- Manage conflict resolution with clients
- Follow and enforce all established policies and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Attention to detail
Schedule:Monday – Friday, Saturday
Pay:$30 - $35 per hour
Position requires a drug test be completed, contingent upon employment and a background check if applicable
To Be Successful:- Experience in Construction / Project Management is a must
- Hands on experience in residential construction, and knowledge of insulation field
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle
- Experience with insulation material and spray foam equipment
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Ability to follow processes and safety policies
- Forklift experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Bend, walk and stand for periods
- Ability to check work to include tight dark spaces, crawl spaces and attics
- Ascend ladders or scaffolds if needed
- Drive a truck and box truck and lift light to moderate weight
