As a Permanent Production Manager in the Manufacturing industry, you will be a key player in our production operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production line, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This role includes managing our production team, ensuring quality control, and maintaining production schedules. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of our team members and compliance with industry regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
Manage a team of production workers, providing leadership and guidance to ensure productivity and morale.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production orders.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of large scale industrial manufacturing equipment, including mechanical refurbishments and controls upgrades (PLCs).
Ensure safety procedures are followed and that the production line is in compliance with industry regulations.
Work with various materials, including PE plastics (flexible films), Paper, Metallized film, and their processing (web path).
Work in a conversion department, upstream production, flexible packaging products, technical films, reflective insulation, radian barriers.
Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and managers of other departments/plants, with professionalism in-house and corporately.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 1+ years of leadership experience.
Experience in working with PE plastics (flexible films), Paper or Metallized film, and their processing (web path) is required.
Experience with large scale industrial manufacturing equipment mechanical re-furnishments and controls upgrade (PLCs) is desirable.
Must be a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team and ensure productivity.
Must be able to understand, work, and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and managers of other departments/plants, with professionalism in-house and corporately.
Proficiency in MS Office is required.
Experience working in a conversion department, upstream production, flexible packaging products, technical films, reflective insulation, radian barriers is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
