About the Job
The Production Manager leads the safe, efficient production of high-quality solar panels, managing staff and schedules to achieve daily, monthly, and annual production goals. This role collaborates closely with Maintenance, Reliability, and Quality teams to ensure top-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all production processes and teams within Washington operations.
- Manage and guide production supervisors.
- Plan and execute production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet targets.
- Set and achieve production metrics, consistently meeting production goals.
- Conduct timely performance reviews for direct-report employees.
- Coach and develop the production team, aiming to enhance overall skill and competency.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals.
- Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, upgrades, and procurement.
- Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards.
- Set and maintain quality standards, implementing quality control and tracking programs.
- Analyze production and quality metrics to identify and address issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain production and budget reports.
- Establish and manage production budgets, implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure smooth collaboration across departments, including quality, engineering, maintenance, procurement, logistics, and warehouse.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE and labor hours per panel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ADP software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledgeable in production management, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.

- 5+ years as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in production planning, controls, and instrumentation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
