Production Laborer at Express Employment Professionals

Express Employment Professionals is looking for Production Laborers to unload product from CNC Machines. 

Pay: $18.00

Shift: 1st 7a-3p 2nd 3p-11p Shifts will vary based on OT  

Job Description: The CNC Machine Unloader is responsible for the efficient unloading of parts produced by CNC machines, ensuring they meet precise specifications for quality and accuracy. This role includes the use of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Responsibilities:

• Unload finished parts from CNC machines promptly and safely.
• Use calipers and micrometers to measure and inspect parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Record measurements and document any deviations from specifications.
• Organize and store unloaded parts in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling for easy identification.
• Communicate effectively with CNC operators, quality assurance personnel, and supervisors about production status and any quality concerns.
• Assist with machine setup and tool changes based on production needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Support inventory management by keeping track of part quantities and reporting discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC operations and machining processes.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items as required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to part inspection.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and tools.
• Requires standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving items.
