They not only scale and mature solutions to acquire and grow our customer base, but they also support platforms and frameworks, champion engineering excellence and enhance the customer digital experience around partnerships, servicing, lending, marketing rewards, and offers and payments.As a Product Management Senior Group Manager of Digital Technology, you will be working within the Digital Engineering space on the Emerging Tech team.
In this role, you will manage multiple teams through other managers.
You will play a crucial role in driving the strategic objectives of the function, with a deep understanding of how their sub-function contributes to the broader goals.
This role requires a thorough knowledge of the industry, including the products and services offered by competitors, to support the business’s commercial targets.
This position demands a strategic vision to align the function’s activities with the overall direction of the business.
It also requires strong practical skills in both digital technology and product management, with expertise in relevant subject areas.
The role involves leading the execution of functional strategies within the area of responsibility, which encompasses budgeting, planning, policy development, and shaping the future strategic path.
As a senior leader, this person is expected to communicate effectively and negotiate at high levels within the organization.
External communications may also be required.
The role influences the business significantly by managing multiple teams, driving cross-functional initiatives, and integrating various functions across the organization.
Responsibilities include full management oversight for multiple teams, covering performance evaluations, hiring, compensation, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approvals.
